Professional Recommendation for AZ&B
This letter is written to provide a recommendation for AZ&B. I had the pleasure of working with AZ&B as NTRG's survey provider on the $193 million DCTA commuter rail project between Carrollton and Denton, Texas. While assigned to the project, I worked closely with Mr. David Utzman, Survey Manager for AZ&B.
Mr. Utzman, as well as the leadership at AZ&B, commited to NTRG before the construction activities began to provide all survey needs during the duration of the project. The AZ&B survey crews arrived on the job well equipped and well trained. NTRG has yet to experience any delay while waiting on survey services. In fact, AZ&B has been instrumental in solving some of the serious survey issues that can arise on a job this complicated.
One of the initiatives launched by the NTRG and AZ&B team was to provide GPS data to the grading equipment in order to increase efficient and quality of grading operations. AZ&B technicians provide the data to NTRG grading foremen and operators who then execute grading activities.
I would look forward to working with AZ&B and the management team again.

I have known this firm since November of 1991, when they worked with Huitt Zollars Inc.'s sub-consultants for one of the DART's projects.
Now, I am with City of Dallas, Public Works & Transportation Department and AB&A, Inc. is the consulting engineer of one of my projects, reconstruction of Ash Lane from Second Avenue to Fourth Avenue.
In more than six years knowing AB&A, Inc., I always found the firm very professional and courteous, whether working with engineers, clients, developers and government staff. The firm's professional and technical knowledge, skills and abilities are above standards.
I highly recommend this firm to be given any opportunity as a consultant for any potential design projects in the organization / development.

Arredondo, Brunz & Associates, Inc. performed work under my supervision while I worked for the City of Dallas, Department of Public Works and Transportation. They designed the paving and drainage for four alleys which imporved both driving and drainage conditions throughout these neighborhoods. They were very responsive to teh City's needs and to the citizens living along these alleys. The project was completed on schedule and within the available budget.
Mr. Don Grisham and his project team were very professional to work with on all phases of the contract. The whole experience with this firm was positive and I would recommend employing their services on future projects.
