AZ&B served as the Owner’s Representative for the SkyLink Automated People Mover (APM) for five years at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The Skylink APM is a bi-directional, elevated, dual guideway, with an estimated cost of $192M. With the successful completion of the Skylink APM, it is the largest elevated airport people mover in the United States of America. During the design phase, AZ&B provided oversight for design submittals for the APM. During the construction phase, AZ&B evaluated train envelope and stability through super-elevation at elevated guideway sections for each terminal within the DFW Airport. In addition, AZ&B conducted detailed system planning sessions while verifying preliminary and final design with engineering calculations.
